Senior Product Designer – UX Quality & Design Systems
Location: Wrocław, Warsaw (Hybrid)
Employment: Part-time (minimum 50%) with the opportunity to increase engagement over time.
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who will help us scale design quality across multiple products and teams. This role is focused on creating consistency, clarity, and better product decisions through design reviews, reusable patterns, and practical guidelines. You will work closely with designers, engineers, and product teams to identify friction, simplify experiences, and establish principles that help teams build better products faster. Rather than owning a single product area, you will have broad impact across Opera’s ecosystem.
Role & Responsibilities:
Run design reviews across products - evaluate shipped and upcoming experiences, identify unnecessary complexity, inconsistent patterns, and opportunities to improve usability.
Build scalable design foundations - create pattern libraries, UX principles, and guidelines that help teams make better decisions independently.
Improve key user experiences - focus on critical flows, onboarding experiences, and high-impact product areas where thoughtful design creates the biggest difference.
Champion simplicity and clarity - challenge unnecessary complexity and help teams create focused, intuitive experiences.
Enable teams to design better - provide constructive feedback, run design critiques, and share practical examples that improve product quality across the organization.
Job Requirements:
4+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio demonstrating strong UX judgment, clear hierarchy, and thoughtful interaction design.
Experience creating and maintaining design systems, component libraries, UX guidelines, or patterns used by other teams.
Ability to evaluate products at a high level and provide actionable feedback across multiple projects.
Strong understanding of UX principles, including interaction states such as loading, empty, error, and progress experiences.
Clear and collaborative communication style. You can challenge ideas while building strong relationships with designers, engineers, and product teams.
What’s On Offer:
At Opera, you’ll join a diverse and inclusive team of experienced, supportive professionals who value creativity and collaboration. We work in a flat structure with short decision-making paths, use smart technology, and support your ongoing skill development in a friendly and empowering environment.
